Neat, legible writing is a prised skill?
Writing analysis is now getting increasingly popular way to not only to screen job applicants but to analyse the psyche of people.

"When used correctly, graphology can give a good indication of a person's personality structure, their abilities, ability to grow and develop, and perhaps most importantly, their integrity," say graphologists.

Recruitment-graphology has come out as an application-oriented field as the requirement in recruitment strongly looks for the personal disposition of the candidate in the job area. The employers are reluctant to admit the use of the technique totally due to its inherent difficulty to link the writing and the person's mind on a formal footing. Some totally abhor the philosophy behind it. Some could use this as an extra dimension. Some argue saying psychometric tests could be manipulated by the people, but handwriting results would bring it to open the reality of a candidate. While handwriting is impossible to fake, CVs are often embroidered and the personal strength in reality is not exhibited. Though the popularity for the graphology is on the increase, the scientific evidence that the mind gets through the hand to portray the personality is missing. So long as this missing link sustains the psychologist and graphologists will continue to have strong advocacy.
